How did you get on at your optician's appointment Jaypo? Any changes?
I had some macular pulling in my right eye  :o but, luckily, it resolved itself. Have to keep an eye on it though - excuse the pun  ;D

I wouldn't be able to get contacts anywhere near my face, the moment I saw them approaching my eyes would run  ::)

Too early to decide  :D

OH is getting better thanks CLKD.
Took the cockapoo out for a walk this afternoon and wasn't shattered on his return so that's good.
I reckon it was flu that he had. Geez, it was nasty  :-\
Me? I don't know what to do with myself now that I don't have mum. Such a lot of my time was taken up supporting her that I'm at such a loose end.
I have my holiday coming up on 16th thank goodness and then we're away again for my 60th in November. Before we know it it'll be (wait for it, Jaypo - Christmas  ;D) but, I'll tell you what, I'll need to think about volunteering or something  :o)

Your whole routine has disappeared Songbird.  ........ and Breath.  Which sector would you like to volunteer in?  Does the school have slow readers who require encouragement for example?  Most charity shops need people to iron ...........

Weary after busy++ dreams  >:(

Oh my, I can hardly get motivated to do my own ironing - I'd be useless in a charity shop  ;D
Funnily enough my job involved supporting people with learning difficulties but I was a bit too long in that area to see myself enjoying volunteering in it.
I'm actually quite comfortable in the hospital environment so I might look into opportunities there. 🤔.

Good idea Jaypo. Why did I not think of that?  ;D
I could have jumped on the Villa Vie Residencies that eventually left Belfast for the 3yr cruise  :o
Geez, no chance! There's something decidedly dodgy about that ship methinks  :neutral:

Has it left Belfast yet, along with the travelling Siamese cat  :o  ;D.  At least most of the passengers made the best of being in Europe !

Me - weary.
