Oh my goodness, I could sleep standing up at the minute! Hubby and I have both had an awful viral infection (the worst cough we've ever had and crashing fatigue 😩). Took ages to get rid of the cough. Couldn't believe we tested negative for covid tbh
....
I'm still suffering with sleepiness and he's left with fatigue
.
Is post viral fatigue a real condition? Any tips ladies? 🙏x

Found that I have a partially collapsed lung and constriction of the tube in my lungs due to one of my tumors tripling in size in two months! Lots of progressive disease too. This explains much of my recent cough, pain and breathlessness. Upping my meds to the highest dosage. Still feeling fairly positive as now at least I have an explanation
Hope you're feeling better

A nurse told me at one time to 'listen to your body'. If you need to sleep and if your life allows it i would Songbird. Sleep is so important for many things.
I'm just emerging from 2 more days in bed with a wretched cough after i thought it was getting better but it returned again on Wednesday. Currently on teaspoons of local runny honey to help. A natural expectorant with other properties and some nutritional value i guess.
Reading your post though Autumnwalks it puts things in perspective. Take best care of yourself. X

Tnx - I was unable to sleep well due to thinking about my friend's condition
Body hungry so am stuffing as much as possible so that I don't get those awful feelings!
These viruses seem to be taking more a hold since Covid lockdown. Listen to your body, sleep heals! group

I’ve got Covid. 🤬
Must’ve caught it at the Peter Kay gig on Friday.
The bloke next to me had a bad cough, so thanks mate for that! 😤🤬 ( if it was him) 🤷🏼♀️

OOOHhh .......... U managed to see Peter Kay
. I've got the snuffles but haven't thought to test. How's it affecting U jillydoll ...........
Still having restless nights thinking of my friend's situation
Since I cut out processed foods and have got out of bed earlier than for a few weeks, I am eating a breakfast at the 'proper' time. Still have slow transit but overall, feel better. DH has to nag me at lunch time to eat protein, it's the most difficult meal to make choices for.

Yeah, he was really funny. Had a good night.
It feels just like a cold and raspy inside, runny nose, cough now and again, but nothing much, I don’t really feel poorly, just not 100%.
Yes CLKD, Protein, protein, protein. ( buy protein shakes if it’s hard to eat lunch time) just a thought. 🤔

Just noticed your post Minusminnie. I think you're right. I'm sure my body's telling me what it needs. Luckily I'm retired so little extra naps are a real possibility for me
.....
I now have viral conjunctivitis
. God knows how I got that! Currently sitting with a cold compress against my peepers, trying to ease the burning
I hope the covid symptoms aren't too bad Jill 🤞

Oh my goodness. What are we like?
But isn’t it good to share
Mum’s not too bad thanks CLKD. Still awaiting biopsy results. Goodness, it takes a while
. The waiting worries me more than her
Booked to go on a day trip (steam train from Bo’ness) with her in a couple of weeks - afternoon tea included - so she’s looking forward to that
Me? Sil on her way for coffee and cake at mine - she’s bringing cake and antihistamines for my dodgy peepers

Thanks CKLD, I'm ok today. Very tired yesterday so was unproductive. Dozed most of the afternoon. Telephone consultation with my nurse this morning to check on my new regime. My joints are stiff, I have a sore mouth and occasional nausea but I can manage all that. I have a posh afternoon tea at the Town Hall next weekend for a 40th wedding anniversary and nothing to wear as yet!
I prefer a longish dress to take away the emphasis from my ugly feet
I always have to wear flats with my bunions and weird toes. At the moment, a mumu would be the most comfortable outfit!

Protein milk shake CLKD is just a shake with added protein.
Bought from the supermarket, normally in the fridge or body building section, my OH drinks them now because he needs all the protein he can get after his illlness.
Not sure I have Covid. This test I’ve just done says no. I’ll test again later tonight. 🤷🏼♀️
We all need a rocket up our arses sounds like!
We’ll all feel better when the sun arrives. …..
