Sleepy Songbird today 🥱. Have awful cystitis after consuming a large glass of passionfruit juice with my dinner last night. I didn’t realise how acidic it was (until I googled it!)
Had to rush back with the Cockapoo this morning, convinced I was going to have an accident. Needless to say, a tiny trickle of pee was my “reward” - the Cockapoo was unimpressed with his shortened walk

Songbird - take some 'nurofen' to ease the nip as the spincter shuts off the flow of urine and do U have any atrophy treatment?

Crikey, what am I like?! I've just noticed the posts from CLKD and Jill  ....so sorry.... thanks for asking ladies..
The pharmacist prescribed a 3 day course of antibiotics and that sorted me out. I take vaginal oestrogen twice a week and I've had no trouble for so long - think it was just a one off 🤞

Songbird - up the VA treatment to every night for at least 3 weeks.  ABs will relieve symptoms but will not replace the oestrogen.  As well as taking Nurofen 3 times a day for 2-3 days to relieve that nip as the urine flow shuts off. 

If symptoms continue after New Year then get a fresh urine sample sent to a Lab for testing.  it's unlikely to be a urine infection every time.

Me - relaxed.  Warm.  Watching 'DIY SOS'.

I’m absolutely fine now, thank goodness. I honestly thought the constant cystitis that I used to have was back  ……let’s hear it for vaginal oestrogen - yay 
Friday’s nearly here, Jaypo. Southampton for you, Silverburn shopping centre for me
