Feeling good, decent sleep other than thunderstorm early hours. Sun always lifts my mood & potential for a walk/bike ride! Have a nice weekend all.

Yellow ankles now there's a thought  :o. sometimes tanning solution colours creases and dare I say wrinkles, differently to the remainder of the body.

Too early to decide.

Will do Jaypo. I just hope the killer whales behave themselves 😳. Desperately want to see them but don’t fancy if they decide to have a wee “play” with the tourist boat we’re on  ;D ;D

A hormonal blip C.C.?

Weary.  Too warm.  Another hour will be better.

No idea. :-\  I have put on some weight in the last year so maybe that has something to do with it, idk. The hot weather doesn't help either.

Feeling ok today.

Yesterday my left nostril ran continually, I got through a whole packet of man size 'Kleenex'  >:(

At 5.00 I woke suddenly, very hot.  Completely runny both sides.   :-\. Snuffly and sneezing until 7.30, alarm went off at 8.00  >:(  >:(

Quiet here.  Going out in a min (it's 2pm now).

Got a very, intensely itchy patch on the heel of my foot.  Not red, it's got that feeling you get if a cold sore about to erupt, but surely not on the heel of a foot.  So keeping a close eye.  It's not the same side as the leg / foot that got cellulitis, so that's something.

Stomach ache as well but nothing bad.  Slight cough.

Ok I'm making it all sound worse than it is, it's just the foot I'm concerned with.  ;D

I had itchy insteps due to lack of oestrogen: I am aware of the sensation all day but when I take off my socks to step into the bath, it's annoying.  Years ago I would wake in the early hours with one ruff heel scrathching the other  ::)

Yesterday I had a very strange day, I was itching all over, as if crawling alive with something.  Then by evening it disappeared, today a bit of upset bowels (sorry) this morning but think whatever that was, it's over.  A sore throat as well.  But that itching was so weird.  No bites, nothing I can see and it's all now stopped.

So there's that.  ;D

Friend has to have a brain scan, they threw it into conversation and then said they had to rush out, so I need to speak to them.  They don't have any worrying symptoms that I know of and I know them well, just lifelong symptoms from an early mild brain injury.  They were speaking to the doctor to get support with some of their difficulties but not reporting anything new.  My anxiety is already very high at the moment.  I hope the brain scan doesn't throw up a red herring to depress friend when perhaps it's always been there all their life.  I repeat, they are not showing any new symptoms, just their usual lifelong ones.  :(

It may be that your friend has niggling symptoms from a brain injury which is never 'mild' or 'only'.  There may be research in which he is taking part.  Is he in touch with Headway?

This is however not your problem unless he asks for advice.  No need to take on board anything that is likely to raise your anxiety.

If you had upset bowels it may be that you had eaten something - years ago Dad had a lot of itching for hours B4 getting a very upset gut, awful for us all!  It was a fish dish.

Low oestrogen can also cause itching.

Thanks CLKD

re bowels  ;D in the last two years I've gone from someone who never had any trouble, ever, to someone who is watching everything she eats to try and work out what the problem is.  I think some of it might be the hrt, so an ongoing process atm.  I was ill though, something was up the other day, I'm much better now.

And thankfully friend asked me to speak to the doctor and as it turns out, doctor doesn't think a brain scan is necessary and is not worried about my friend either.  They were just agreeing because my friend wanted it (friend was worried about childhood injuries).  He's going to get support but my fears from yesterday are gone now.   :)
