For me it would be that I'm tied to the 'phone, waiting - when I could be Getting ON!  You may be asked to meet the new GP once he/she has had a chat.  Hopefully your NHS notes have travelled up !

Me - too early to decide  ;D.  Breakfast to hand  :whist:

Do they have to request your notes?

Me - sneezy still even though we stripped the bedroom yesterday.  Windy guts.  Otherwise, from the knees downwards  ;)

Yes,they've requested them but like everything these days, all takes ages,She wasn't keen on giving me hrt, simply because of the family history but she didn't say NO,she's given me a low dose AD for the low mood and I've just to keep up with the Vit D + calcium tabs for the osteoporosis

Glad you eventually got to speak to someone from your new surgery, Jaypo. Hope you get exactly what you feel you need.  I have to say, a low does AD, coupled with HRT, has definitely had a positive effect on my anxiety and low mood.
When I read about the issues and “time waiting” that some ladies experience re their GP surgery, I feel really fortunate to be a patient at my surgery. The GPs are such good listeners, there are about 15 of them working there and I can always get, as a minimum, a phone call “on the day”.
I know others are not as fortunate.  :foryou:

ADs are not the 1st NICE suggestion.  They can ease some symptoms so give them a go?  There are so many ways of delivering HRT into the body that treatment shouldn't be dismissed and ADs pushed instead.

I have decided that a cuppa after 1.00 p.m. isn't a good idea  :-\

Thank you  :) I DID make it clear my low mood and anxiety were meno related and she said if the ADs were no good, she would get advice from a meno specialist to see if HRT would be an option but when they hear my mum and her sister AND their mother all had mastectomies they don't like to recommend it

Bet no one has suggested bilateral mammogram prior to HRT for anyone?  Quality of Life is important ........ what types of cancer did your family have for example, or do the medical profession simply say "Oh no to that then".   >:(.

Windy.   >:(

Felt tired all day, just trying to get over some sort of ailment, not covid, still wearing a mask at work.  Maggie's first half day of doggy daycare...so that stressed me out even though I can log onto the webcam and watch her.  She was tired out, and put to bed early tonight.

tnx jillydoll - I've been on my feet today and could feel the back 'pulling' by mid afternoon, I took 'nurofen' B4 bed last night and slept through.

Feeling quite good as we are slowly clearing 'stuff'  :D

Having been given a pre-diabetic diagnosis yesterday which made me feel sick and I sulked - BP this morning is 121/70.  We are revising my diet - cutting out chocolate, jam on biscuits, fruit juices ...... and had planned a walk this morning but it's chucking it down!  A few weeks ago I found my skipping rope, damned if I can remember where!   ;D however, I don't want to end up in A&E with an ankle/knee injury.

Fed up.  OK really, considering  ::)

Aww CLKD, sorry to hear that.
My brother has just this week found out he has type 2 diabetes.
He’s to see the nurse at his GPs practice urgently, so the letter said.
He rang up, can’t see him until 23rd December.  ;D
He said, it can’t be THAT urgent then! 🤨.  ;D
