Tired and grumpy this morning (look out CLKD  ;D), just because it's me.  Puppy has been pretty good this morning but dh is being a stubborn dumdum when it comes to doing any kind of training with her.  He just gets annoyed. >:(

It's never the dog, always the owner  ;).

What's his problem, really?   Does he think that if you train Maggie she will do as he tells her  :-\

Sad - reading through then shredding letters from departed friends ........  :'(

His problem is that her training is not his problem.  He'll play with her and tell her no when she misbehaves but won't listen to me when I explain why she's being a brat.  I'm taking him to puppy class next week so the instructor can set him right.

I've been giving her dehydrated liver treats for training, the same kind the vet gives out.
Dh wouldn't dare tell me she's my dog so I do the work...he knows better.

Knee pain has flared up again, could be patellar tendonitis. The pain feels familiar from my running days.

A neighbour dropped by earlier.  Her husband was concerned - I was trying to talk to him on Sunday evening but couldn't string 2 words together  :-\, had been trying to explain our new pot/tub/thingy in which to grow a water lily - I couldn't explain it properly.  He was concerned that I had suffered a stroke  :o ........ I think it was the heat!  My brain had shut down .........

A little cooler today although still losing moisture - mayB I should stand over a plant that looks dry  :D. I've also had cramp in my hands .......... probably due to excessive sweating.

Oh dear. I think the hot weather can definitely have a negative affect in your overall health.
I've felt a bit "off" today I have to say. Had to leave mum a bit earlier than normal as felt a bit light-headed but it wasn't particularly warm today. I wonder if it's something to do with the fact that I'm due to change my patch tomorrow 🤔- maybe not absorbing too well today.
Hey ho  :o

It might be worth upping your salt intake in this hot weather CLKD.
Mr L has big problems with sweating after exercise/gardening in this exceptionally hot weather.
Unless he has some salt when he gets in he wakes up with horrific cramps  in his legs.
