Oh CLKD. She has been through it lately!!
She will be treated for osteoporosis if dexascan shows this! Suspect it will.
Steroid treatment for another condition has greatly reduced her mobility, she now has water retention - trying to get used to water tablets but continence issues happening now! And she's bleeding vaginally now (again GP suspects is due to steroids) but she's to be referred urgently to gyn, just in case!
It's a lot for an 84 year old  :-\

It certainly is.  Why would steroids cause bleeding PV?  Mum never had problems when she had intense treatment for polymyalgia rheumatica.

There are some pretty lady panties for reassurance ;-).  Some are washable.

Not a lot.  Out of bed, washed, breakfast to hand.  MotoGP on TV  :-*

Oh thanks Jaypo. Will do. Geez, old age doesn’t come itself - how true  ???
Well, CLKD, high doses of steroids can bring a risk of bleeding according to the GP - add blood thinning meds to the mix and it can cause a fair bit of blood loss. Hopefully it’ll all settle down for her 🙏.
It’s a beautiful day here so had a lovely time with the Cockapoo at the beach park - followed by coffee, cake and pupachino for the hairy one  ;D

I would suspect the blood thinning meds., however - hopefully as your Mum's body adjusts this will be resolved.

Light lunch part taken off.  Feet up, watching MotoGP first race of the weekend  8) :-*

Heavy dreams, I could hardly lift myself off the bed and was ages B4 my eyes opened properly  :-\

At least my back feels less stiff/painful thus far.

Been in the spar, done some swimming and had a jacuzzi.
