;D. with a thick cloth to lift it then?

Meander: 5 years ago we were buying flat irons from antique fairs for a fiver each, Rotary Club were sending packs of irons to parts of Africa that didn't have regular supplies of electricity.  Sewing kits with needles etc., to get girls off the streets into a trade.  Many schools in Africa won't take girls into education unless they could sew their own uniforms.

Cycles for mid-wives went sent out so that they could travel to outlying tribes, they were taught how to maintain them and carried a spare tyre over their shoulders.

Sewing machines were too difficult to maintain as parts were difficult to service.

Watched Country File, Antiques Road Show, now Billy Connolly  :-*

Oh poor wee thing, it doesn't take them long to lose condition.  Cooked chicken and rice?

Eaten our evening meal.  📺 on.  No fire this evening as it's been warm enough, however ..... it's raining again  :-\

Oh, it's such a worry when your wee dog is unwell  :-\.
Glad she's picked up a bit now Jaypo 👍.
Our cockapoo's been munching on the odd bit of grass yesterday and today but he hasn't been sick 🤷‍♀️.

Toured round several garden centres to find vine weevil killer!  Two packets should sort them, now I need labels to put into the pots that have been treated: would' you think that a garden centre would sell labels  :-\ ::)

Same old.  Same old.  As well as feeding wild birds, have been cleaning my bedside cabinet.  Dust bunnies fleeing everywhere  ;D followed by the Shark which has worked so hard it now needs re-charging.   ::)

Picked narcissi that had broken stems in This Wind  :-\ now in a vase.

Been shopping.
Got wet. 😡 came out the wrong exit door, had to walk all round the car park to our car which was parked the other side. 🤨
This rain has a lot to answer for!

Doesn't it just!   >:(

I think that we need to build The Ark.  I've hung laundered towels on the line as tomorrow is supposed to be dry(er) and we are away early.  hopefully by the time we get back late evening they will be dry enough to come inside.

Fire lit  :o

Having an aaaahhhh moment :  Video has showed a sheep nursing her newborn lambs having beaten the odds by giving birth to all five.

Staff at Kentwell Hall near Long Melford, Suffolk, were shocked when the Norfolk horn ewe birthed the quintuplets on Wednesday afternoon.

The birth of this many lambs is a rare occurrence and is considered a one-in-a-million chance.

Busy in our garden in warm sunshine  :).  Lunch eaten.  MotoGP on all weekend from Texas, so can do stuff in the morning B4 settling down mid-afternoon.  8)
