In my 1st job I 'tested' Maris piper and other spud/wheat varieties as part of my daily experiences.

Today: had to force lunch after reading about the choppy seas  :-X

1 load done, another whizzing round.
Now getting myself round a slice of freshly baked bread with butter  :-* 8)

Drove out to Ivinghoe Beacon along with half of Bedfordshire  ;D.  Found a place to park and choose a path less busy, 1 that we hand't walked along ever.  Through the binoculars the Beacon was crowded with radio controlled planes being flown, dogs everywhere .............

We need to find our maps of the area as it seems that there is lots to explore  8)

Home now.  C.mas left overs finished 4 lunch.  Fire lit.  Ice Age II on 📺

Have walked round the tow paths and into the local town Charity shops.  Bought a light which will help me reading in the night.  The bedside table is too low these days!

Sorted out the fuchsia and pelargonium plants in the porch where they get afternoon sun.  Watered etc and put back.  Now on here, cuppa to hand, listening to That Wind  :o

Stood in a queue at our local butcher to pick up my jumbo sized steak pie for New Year's day dinner. In Scotland it has to be steak pie on 1st Jan (unless you're a vegetarian of course) 😆.

It's very traditional, Penguin. Creamy mash, roasties, cauli cheese and green beans. And hubby makes a mean raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake 😋..

Out to an antique fair, caught up with some dealers then home through torrential drizzle.
Early tea.
Feet up, burner lit.
