Stayed in my jammies til 9 am, as I woke up with a nasty cough.  Did the vacuuming and mopping and put the laundry on while dh walked the pup.  No new photos from dd, but I know she's having a good time.  She's going to see the Pet Shop Boys tomorrow night, so I've been told.

I was going to say have some vino for me jaypo, but water will do...probably a better idea anyway  ;D

Watched the fireworks in Madeira last night,was stunning. On to Cadiz now
Ha,I'm not buying the ships wine songbird ARE THEY HAVING A LAUGH!?! My fave wine is £22 at home,on here?$79 😳😳 I know we Scots are canny but come on 🤣

It never ceases to amaze me regarding “mark up” on food and drink 😲….Glad you’re having a fab time on the cruise  ;D
Having a nice quiet night in tonight - (steak pie dinner for two followed by a lovely trifle) - bliss  ;)

Cooked dinner today. ( wellllll, thought I’d make an effort) 😂
Leg lamb, and all the trimmings.
Hot chocolate sponge cake with cream for afters. 😋

Cleaned the shower down, cleaned up kitchen, t.towels washing as I type.
Think a lovely shower will do now, then feet up watching tele with a glass of loverly wine. 🍾

Home for light lunch and 📺 - Ice Age followed by a deep sleep  ;)

Got a message early this morning from dd, her connecting flight from Edinburgh to Heathrow was delayed so she missed her scheduled flight home. She's biding her time waiting for the next one at noon your time.  She won't land til just after 8 pm here.

Took pup for a walk, got annoyed at dh (he's back to work tomorrow), and ordered some outrageously priced crochet hooks but from what I hear, they're worth it.

DD wasn't in Scotland long, would she visit again?

Laid until 9.45  :o
After breakfast drove to an outlet 40 mins away: garden centre, shoe shop, clothing as well as an antique centre all on one site  8).  :whist:

Home for light lunch
Sorted bird feeders and laundry
Taking down decorations slowly leaving the cards until next week
Feet up, 🔥 lit.

Took the tree and decorations down. ( not many)
Cleaned and dusted everywhere.

We picked her up last night, her flight landed on time and took very little time through customs. 
BA had bumped her from her flight from Edinburgh to London as they overbooked and there was a delay due to the loading ramp or something...idk, she wasn't happy about it because she was at the gate an hour before the flight.  They gave her an 8 pound food voucher as compensation.
Yes she will visit again, next time, in the summer lol. Not only there was a damp cold (she hates feeling cold) her roommate's apartment didn't have any heat, it was 13 degrees inside the whole time.  The landlord hadn't gotten to fixing it over the holidays.

Sadly that's typical of many land lords, legally obliged to service flats etc. but often disappearing with the rent.  So pleased that DD will consider a return trip!

Up into the loft again, finding boxes full of stuff forgotten about.  All down to sort through, shred or put into albums.  Most decs down, apart from those on the trees outside - blowing hard and raining  ::)

Been for the appt with the Nurse.  Fire lit, feet up.

Restocked my cabinet with new jewellery.  Seems I sold a few items last week  8)
