Go for it!  I can't book ahead as it triggers my anxiety.   :-\

Met with a couple of friends briefly.  Home now, fire lit, light lunch to hand.

More clearing up later.

Morning shift, walked my freshly groomed puppers, put the laundry on, made 24 cupcakes for my program kids to decorate later, drank a coffee, played with freshly groomed puppers, now I'm having a bit of a sit before the next load of laundry needs to go on.

Oh bet Maggies smells lush  8)

Laundry on the go here too.  Found 2 more bags of bubble wrap shoved into a cupboard, it's where I can see it now on a shelf.  One more gift to open from yesterday  ;)   :-*

I'm only 40 mins from Edinburgh, tell her to definitely bring a thick jumper & some waterproofs, says it all really lol

She's packing a warm sweater and bringing her winter coat and boots. For Christmas, I bought her a warm base layer top and warm hiking socks because she'll be doing alot of walking.

Edinburgh is lovely.  I haven't been since I was 11  :o.  Hopefully the rain will stay off.

Eaten 2 pancakes.  Put another log on the fire.  More sorting done and cleared away.  4 cards to deliver on our walk tomorrow or Friday.  Job done!

Mary Kings Close is a good attraction. It's on the High Street (Royal Mile). Very emotive (I think it's haunted too) 👻 Spooky....

Went out for a meal to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary, which was on Tuesday, then this afternoon, made penguins to decorate the 3 Christmas cakes that I have made ( 1- gluten free, 1- gluten free and dairy free and one dairy free and egg free!) Lots of lessons learnt, but won’t be remembered next year! Check how much head room there is in the cake box. 1 cake had to have all the penguins round the base instead of on top. When colouring marzipan with orange colouring using red and yellow, don’t start with red. Had to find a shop that still had some marzipan left! Lots of fun. The penguins were made out of white marshmallows partially covered with painted on melted dark chocolate, orange marzipan beaks and feet and edible eyes and edible glue. Now what shall I make next year?  ;D

It's not a story  :-\.  After my 1st cat was PTS I saw him the next day in our garden.  When he arrived with us 19 years ago he had a broken leg so after surgery, had limped and the affected leg wouldn't stay straight when sitting.  That particular day he wasn't limping.

18 months later our small bl/white cat was PTS - she was a sweetie.  1 few weeks later she appeared in our lounge, I got up to feed her "Oh, you're hungry".  She faded away.  2 days later the Siamese had to be PTS due to a liver tumour - she had come to collect him.  DH saw her too though it was several days B4 he would admit to it.  I never saw the Siamese or our dog, PTS 5 months later.

Well, U did ask.  My paternal grandma had 2nd sight ;-).

Eaten fish fingers, peas and. new spuds with butter.  Fire lit.  📺 on.  Sorted out cards ready to write for C.mas morning, as well as some given to DH a few years ago.  Wonder whether he will notice  ;)
