X-ray can tell the amount of OA damage jaypo.  MayB look at your foot wear, a raise if you wear down the heel more on one side will ease some of the arthritic pain.  It will also relieve any stress on the tendons in the ankle and foot.  MayB get your OH to drawer round your feet - stand on a large piece of paper with flour spread over it to about 1" - you can then gauge where your foot actually hits the ground.

Foot wear can cause referred back/hip/neck pain.

Watched DH fishing. 🎣.  Read. Slept.  Woke mid-afternoon with deep soreness in the remaining back tooth  :-\.  In the night all sensation had gone  :-\.  Have taken 'nurofen' and salt washed once we got home.  Eaten some warmed custard.  I. may try Paracetamol later.   Yep, mine kept disappearing to various rooms to fetch tools  ;D and all the while I thought that he was removing the tooth that is now sore: but it was the cement and root that had to come out.

Strawberry with rhubarb C.C.  :-X

Thank you clkd  :)
I definitely walk on the outer side of my foot as it's the big toe that has the arthritis but get this, I can walk perfectly in high heels  ;D

So can my DH  8)  ;D. (thereby hangs a tale)

From mid-afternoon the back tooth was exceedingly sore then painful.  Paracetamol at 10.35 and Nurofen at 4.00 - I hardly dare eat as there is no sensation or pain - yet.

My mouth took about a month to settle down completely. I kid you not.
My problem now is I keep sticking my tongue in the gap between my teeth, and it’s making my tongue sore. It’s turned into a habit. OH said, stop doing it, it’s not a good look! 😡 ;D
So when he got up off the floor, he said sorry!  ;D ;D

A bit of cleaning up, then having my hair cut. Think I’ll do a Kojak. 👶🏼

Why does your GP think that this would be the cause of your pains?  What has he suggested instead?  I would want to know on what he is basing this on?  It's not supposed to travel .......

And why after 6 months has this suggestion been made  :-\. - Friday afternoon decision?

Had to take Paracetamol at noon as I had sudden intense pain in the L cheek above that tooth.  OK until 10 mins OK, now it's niggling  :-\  :'(

CLKD it really might be worth contacting your dentist for advice. Mr L had pain following a tooth extraction last year. The dentist had some wondrous glop that he was able to put in/on which helped things significantly. Took two goes mind.....

Tnx.  I will send the dentist an e-mail to update my notes - I thought it had settled until noon.  Any1 used oil of cloves to ease gum pain?

Don't know what the dentist used on Mr Ls gum cavity, he wouldn't say 🙄 but it did have a definite whiff of cloves about it.

Are you walking on the outside of your foot to avoid pressure on your big toe?  It might be worth looking at orthotics for your shoes to help ease the pressure off the toe.  I used to sell running shoes and I saw so many customers that had the same issue and did not wear orthotics, they refused(mainly because of the cost) and wore shoes that just made the problem worse.  I have arthritis in the joint of the big toe on my left foot and I will feel it if I'm wearing the wrong shoe, flip flops are the worst for triggering the pain.

Oh thank you C.C I will look into that, yes it's sore to bend the toe when walking,so soft shoes are a no no,I bought from a company called Fitflop they do rigid soled footwear and are fab.

Clkd since changing to vagirux from vagifem seems to have been round the time the stomach pain started,on Saturday I inserted one and had pain about 2 hours later,it stated in the patient info that it's one of the common side effects BUT the Dr didn't rule out long Covid either,so if the stomach pain stops then it looks like it's the vagifem........what a palaver  :o

Certainly a palaver - why prescribe something that might cause belly ache  >:(

Been into town and stocked up on pain relief and oil of cloves which can't be used on the gum area, so back to bonjela.  1 500mg paracetamol taken a noon, 2 nurofen taken a few moments ago.  Will send an e-mail to the dentist to put into my notes.

Laundry sorted.  Fish fingers and peas for tea.
