I've read today about a Mum whose daughter died from sepsis - but none of the medics would over-rule the consultant and get the child into intensive care  even when the parents raised concerns  :'(. Seems that there remains a hierarchal system within the NHS.  >:(

Watching 🏏 💯 .......... from Lords.

Yesterday I helped my partner with mixing and pouring concrete. It took from about 10am to 6pm. Fortunately there was only a bit of light rain. Today I shall be doing as little as possible as my back and glutes are rather painful. I slept well but still feel exhausted.

It's Labour Day today so most things are closed.  Dh, ds and dd are off to visit our youngest ds for the afternoon, it'll be just me and Mags at home.  We would take her but she wouldn't be good in the car for an hour drive plus we are still treating her for Giardia, and ds has a cat so we don't want to take the risk of infection...although the cat would pretty much hide the whole time.  I'm going to try and give her a bath at some point.

Who is getting the bath: cat or Maggie  ;D

There's a tale there somewhere  ::).  Does she require a bath?  I gave my spaniel a bath if she was smelly, too much strips the coat of natural oils.  A good rubber brush will get the under coat out and sparkle the top coat.  What about her nails and teeth, they R probably more important.  Pity dogs aren't self cleaning  ;D

Fetched laundry off the line as it started to rain .  Eaten my evening meal early.

Definitely Maggie,  I wouldn't want to try and bath ds's cat! ;D
Our vet says it would be fine to give her a bath now.  Since we are treating her for Giardia, she thought a bath would be a good idea to get rid of any cysts that might be in her fur.
I brush her teeth daily and dd clips her nails.

I bet you a box of Black Magic jaypo that B4 you go there will be 100s of spiders of all sizes in there: even if you shut doors and windows  ;D

Fed 🦔 s.

Are U able to feel the cysts C.C.?  Will it be an outdoor tin bath attempt with baby shampoo  8).  Will U warm her towel ........ there are bags to put dogs into so that they roll around trying to get out and it supposedly dries the coat: or they simply sit.  Waiting to be let out  :D

I had to check that you could still get Black Magic, not really noticed it for years.

I don't know what possessed me, but yesterday evening I did manage to vaccuum 2/3 of the house. I was feeling a bit cold and as my back was aching anyway...Today I will steam mop the hall and bathroom and then a bit of reading and catch up on the US open tennis.
