Starting hrt
« on: August 18, 2022, 11:52:58 AM »

Hi everyone,  I'm new to this group,  just looking for some feedback regarding hrt.
I suffered for 3 years with hair loss mood swing flushes and brain fog and finally after a change of doctor I was put on hrt.
Things seemed to really look up,  there was a definite positive decrease in my symtoms,  but I'm onto my fourth month now and I seem to of took a step back.  My moods have dipped again,  flushes are back alongside brain fog and anxiety are through the roof.  Will these settle down again or should I be contacting the doctor for an increase,  I'm currently on evorel 50 and my mirena provides my pro estrogen.  I'm 44 years old.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

HI!   :welcomemm:

Browse round.  It may be that you need a hike of Evorel to 75 - but not all at once or your hormones may retaliate.  I hope that someone on this regime will be along to give proper advice.

Some find that keeping a mood/food/syptom diary useful to chart progress.  There is a good comment by another member about the Mirena, I'll get her to copy/paste here.
