Bombshell as I prepare to start Zoely in the next couple of days I am trying to get prepared in advance... my expectation (based on what happened when I tried Slynd POP earlier in the year) is that it will initially cause a big flare up of my allergy issues due to the initial increase of both estrogen and progestin. I'm hoping beyond hope that I can tolerate it until my own hormone levels start to dip, at which point my body will no doubt immediately start complaining of low(ered) Estrogen and I can then very slowly top up with a tiny dose of patch until I'm non symptomatic - I might need to increase more than once as my previous experience was that even after 3 cycles my hormones were still dropping and hadn't fully flatlined.
I know from blood tests that my testosterone levels are already on the floor and that Zoely will only make this worse, so I'd like to get prepped in advance on this. I was interested to read your comments regarding DHEA vs Testosterone and I did some research on the studies you refer to on DHEA supplementation in women on Pills - found it very interesting, especially that it didn't seem to increase Estrogen levels (because Testosterone supplementation usually does, through aromatisation, which has caused me problems when I tried it in the past). I plan to start on the smallest possible dose which is 15mg capsules, and see how that goes...
