Hello everyone,
I'm 53 and have just decided to try HRT for my perimenopausal symptoms. I've suffered for 10 years with period problems, palpitations, feeling hot most of the time, tiredness,  memory issues, weght gain etc. I've been on Sertraline for 5+ years for the palpitations.  Started HRT on Saturday and woke up this morning feeling very dizzy but subsided around lunchtime.  Hopefully this won't last long.
Will be lovely to chat with others in a similar situation. X

Hello Honeybee. Welcome to the forum.  I am sorry to hear you have had to put up with these symptoms for so long. It can take time for the body to adjust to HRT so hopefully the dizzy feeling will go soon.

 :welcomemm:  browse round.  Make notes.

Ask away - nothing is taboo on here.  Some find that keeping a mood/food/symptom diary useful.

Welcome Honeybee!

Dizziness a common side effect but should settle.

What HRT/dosage are you taking? xx

Thankyou for the welcome. I'm on 100mg progesterone and Everol 25 patch. I ate first this morning before taking the tablet and it was much better x
