I was very excited yesterday when I finally managed to get some estradot 50mcg rather than having it substituted by evorel, as I found those patches too big and a bit annoying as I'd be more aware of them, and I'd sometimes get itchy around the edges. However, on applying my first patch this morning it wasn't sticking very well, so now it's held in place with some micropore tape. This is the first time I've had this problem and I wondered if it could be due to dry skin? I always thought that body lotions or oils would prevent it sticking, not dryness, but I can't think what else it could be? Has anyone else had this problem recently? Alternatively, I wondered if maybe the recent hot weather could have affected the adhesive? Any thoughts?
