OK - sit quietly and let's begin ;-)
Long term ABs for bladder problems: R U able to explain what this was exactly. Vaginal Atrophy mimics repeated urine-type. infections really really well. Have your urine samples been sent to a Lab.? Have you been seen by a Urologist with knowledge of menopause?
What R U taking for your bowels? It is suggested that constant ABs will strip the digestive tract of good bacteria so a LIVE yoghurt eaten regularly will help replace the flora. I have been eating it regularly but of course, can't remember the name on the pot but it is definitely live culture. Natural may not have live cultures.
When I had ABs or elective surgery I would begin the yoghurt from a table spoon 3 times a day. When my dog had chemotherapy, she developed heart burn, she licked yoghurt off a spoon with tail gently. wagging. The dog's tail ........

As for bloating. Do U feel uncomfortable inside? I had this problem years ago (1991) and was diagnosed with IBS. By mid-day I couldn't keep the zip. on my skirt done up

and by tea time although. hungry, was unable to eat as my whole digestive system had slowed almost to a halt.

. My GP prescribed Motillium and Colpermin capsules. The idea was to swallow both before my main meals. I needed 3 Motillium each time to get a result. They. saved my Life. The Colpermin was to ease any upper gut wind ....... it took 3 months B4 I got into the habit of eating little and often so that the digestive system had something to 'work' on.
R U hydrated? Drinking too much as well as what you drink will impact. Urine should be the colour of straw all day. Any lighter and the body is too hydrated. Darker means we need to up intake. Remembering too that we get liquids from the foods as well as liquids.
Do U eat breakfast? I altered my muesli 3 years ago to Lizys ........ it did make a difference. As well as eating B4 the body needs energy so that I don't gobble due to being hungry.
Perhaps make a list to see what you enjoy eating? Share ? This too will pass. Add a hormonal upheaval the gut can certainly become upset. 10 mins B4 a bleed I would have to rush to the loo, even if a period wasn't due!
