I'm another who hasn't watched Dr Who for years!

I have been watching The Loch on Sundays.  It was not the best - more murders than Midsomer  but for some reason curiously compelling.  Anyway, it ended, and the ending was a bit rubbish so that was a bit of a waste of 8 weeks, but the scenery was good.

I record The Handmaids Tale and watch it without the adverts.  They keep changing the time to make it later (I think that is The Tour aforementioned  ).  I read it when my daughters did it for A level and the adaptation is really very good, but not an easy late Sunday watch, as it is a hard going at times.  Hence recording it.

Poldark - I liked it the first time round with Ralph Bates as George Warleggan, and whilst I enjoyed the first series, it just is not as exciting second time around.

I think Dr Who is hoping for a ratings boost

Fearless was excellent. Many twists and turns and a very good ending.

I did like the Loch. Probably because I recognised a lot of the places it was filmed.

I think Shetland is returning in the autumn. They filmed an episode near me. I really wanted to go watch but hubby wasn't keen.

One of my favourite books and I've really enjoyed the adaption so hopefully you won't be disappointed.

Couldn't believe how bad the loch turned out, really ludicrous ending!

Game of thrones back so I'm happy about that, watching Fargo too and still have the Leftovers to catch up on so loads available.

I have only just, today, watched The Real Full Monty, brilliant, life affirming, feel good TV.  I had to applaud the effort, the motivation and the sheer, er, balls of the men taking part.  Made me feel good all day, one of my favourite films

On the BBC 6pm news tonight, did anyone see the story about that little American boy who's had the double hand transplant?  What a great little lad and what a fantastic, mature outlook on life at such a young age.  He seemed to have the measure of life.

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. This wasn't the original film CLKD, it was a documentary about male celebrities who recreated the original routine to raise awareness of men's cancers - testicular and prostate.

The original remains one of my favourite films but this was something else, very moving.
