Ann Cleeves is the author of both Vera and the Shetland series. I have been reading quite a few and am hooked. The TV series are not close enough to the books to spoil things so well worth a look.
Snooker is on at the moment. At eight o'clock things will change   ;D

I was a bit disappointed in the last Vera series but loved the first one. I never really got into the Shetland one - maybe should have tried harder.

Did anyone watch Billy Connelly last night in his programme all about death?  I didn't think I'd like it but actually it was very good - funny in some places and sad and touching in others.  Last night dealt mainly with the American side of things and some stuff made you wonder out loud but all in all a very good programme - next episode is on next Wednesday - think it was ITV at 9pm.  Quite poignant as he has been diagnosed with cancer and Parkinsons  recently although he said the programme had been planned before he found any of that out.

Not watching much at the moment, nothing much appeals, except my usual "Startrek", and even I can't get much pleasure from

watching "Rosemary and Thyme" for the goodness knows how many times now ::)

I like a good Documentary though but sadly there are not many new ones on Sky, and too many repeats.

I really should plough through my Planner, have got some good films to watch.

I did watch Johanna Lumley's Greece series again and enjoyed it though.

I was watching Superbikes from Oulton Park followed by Womens Road Race through Northants.  Now 'escape to the country' and later' escape to the continent'  ::)

Then later it will be catch up for Womens Cycling for the bits we didn't see ourselves ……. and need to catch up Gary Barlow from Monday and Billy C from last night …….
