Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing ok.
I’m very worried and anxious and am hoping that someone can offer some words of comfort please.
I’m on Oestrogel (3 pumps) and Utrogestan and have been taking the Utrogestan for twelve days a month for three years now. For about 3 months I’ve just had spotting instead of a ‘period’ at the end of the Utrogestan phase and my Gp has advised me to change to a continuous regime and has booked a trans-vaginal ultrasound scan to make sure all is ok. My scan is on the 11th July.
In recent weeks I’ve had pelvic pain and my GP thinks it’s diverticulitis (I have IBS and there’s a history of diverticula disease in my family) but the antibiotics don’t seem to be easing the pain. I also have a fibroid but the GP didn’t think that this could be causing my problems.
I’ve been spotting again today and am worrying myself sick. I had a hysteroscopy in 2019 (for spotting on HRT) and all was well then apart from the fibroid. I know that you’re not medically trained and can’t offer any medical advice but I just wanted to share with people who understand.
Thanks for reading,
Roo xx
Hiya,
I understand why you are anxious .. however....
Looking at your post.. it was posted at 9:30 pm... So many of us probably aren't online or checking sites as frequently at that hour.. Even now it's only 2:46 pm.. We try to be as helpful as we can.. None of us are online 24/7.. have work other things going on.. Its not even been 24 hours since you posted..
Give folks a chance..
If you don't feel this group is the right fit for you... thats okay too..
I'm fairly new to the group..
I for one have found it very helpful and supportive when I've given people a chance to respond.
Good luck with your issues.. hopefully your GP can settle your anxieties.. and queries..
