Utrogestan and bladder issues
« on: July 01, 2022, 06:00:07 PM »

Wondering if Utrogestan is causing major bladder issues - needing to go a lot and an uncomfortable feeling in my bladder.

Has anyone else had issues?

Thanks.

If you are using utrogestan Internally and already have bladder issues, then I think it can irritate unfortunately.

Do you use local Oestrogen, such as ovestin and vagifem?

Yes it can cause this because progesterone has a kinda relaxing effect on muscles and the pelvic floor etc.

You can try using Vagifem (local estrogen) internally to try to offset what the progesterone is doing. Otherwise you might need to think about changing your progesterone. Can you take it orally?
