Gilla - sorry its getting worse.

I'm probably repeating myself here, but I am definitely finding times of high estrogen I'm getting histamine reactions, despite being on the strongest antihistamines too.

If you dont want to take utro continuously, could you reduce your estrogen instead???

I absolutely hear you on the constant health issues. Every day is a struggle here and I'm still trying new things and doses.

For me, I dont think a low histamine diet would work, as my symptoms are definitely related to my cycle (or hormonal trials). X

I agree Crispy, whatever is going on feels too strong for diet to fix alone.

The strange thing is that if I reduce my Lenzetto I get withdrawal from doing so, and I know that my Estrogen level is nowhere near as high now as it was back in September when I didn't have allergies, and that when the allergy started in December my Estrogen level had actually dropped really low. So none of the pieces seem to fit together. I'm just starting my Utrogestan phase now, so will be interesting to see if it improves things.... other than that i'm just pinning all my hopes on the allergy specialist I'm seeing in a couple of weeks.

I'm sorry to hear you're still struggling too... I do feel that I have improved vastly since we used to speak 18 months ago pre HRT so I am thankful for that, but like you I am still far from being my normal self. Sending you lots of good vibes and hoping for an improvement soon

Gilla - I guess the next week will be very telling.

I've just had my nose op. Ramped up my progesterone two days ago... And got my classic headache behind nose issue  ???  I cant help feeling I mightve had surgery for a hormonal issue  ;D hey ho. I have endless allergies anyway. Had them all my life, so perhaps it'll do some good.

I'm glad you get some relief nowadays. I think I'm on the right course now... Just working with dosage and route etc. Nothing positive to tell yet. But if there ever is I will shout it loud  ;D

Really interested to hear how you get on with the prog phase abd your allergies...report back  :)

Was it Septoplasty you had Crispy? I had Septoplasty and widening of all my sinuses 3 years ago and while I didn't notice much difference on the breathing side, aside from covid I haven't caught a single cold since and I was having them every few weeks beforehand so there are definitely hidden benefits to it!

After stopping the Testosterone this morning my mood has been much much better - I still feel like death because of the allergy/hives but at least I'm not so weepy and emotional and dark like I had been on the Androfemme - it just didn't agree with me at all, I don't think I've ever felt so low!

I looked back at my calendar today to work out what changed or was going on when all this allergy stuff started and realised it all started the day after my covid booster!! Probably just a coincidence (I was fine after the first two jabs) but still....

If the Utro does really help with the allergies I might consider trying BHRT Prog small dose during the rest of my cycle and see if it dampens down the allergy stuff. Preventing ovulation is a worry though, as that wasn't good for me when I was on the Pill. Mirena could be another option but just so nervous about reacting badly and not being able to just 'stop' it....
