Hi I’m getting bleeding on oestrogel  (2 pumps ) and taking 100 mg of utrogesten each day. I’m coeliac and always  had a problem digesting tablets etc. I’m now wondering if I’m not digesting the progesterone. Do you know if the progesterone in a combined patch is body identical?, my GP thought not. So is there a micronised progesterone available that you can use vaginally? Thanks

Hi Nigela. You can use the Utrogesten vaginally, many on here do. There is no other micronised progesterone product currently available other than Utrogesten.

We're you 1 year without a bleed before you started hrt? If you're still peri you might be better on a sequi regime.

Yes I’m actually 12 years post meno. I tried the soft gel tablet vaginally last night but out it came this morning! Not good!
