Okay, thanks again all.
Yes Victoria, I have various oils and moisture creams, will slap them all on today. Just got a new ovestin, so that can go on the lips!

Glad you are feeling better after covid and that the new HRT regime is a success! Long may it last!

Joanie, I found I didn’t need much in the way of vagifem etc as didn’t have atrophy etc with the 75 patch. I will continue to nurture those areas though as they are in poor shape right now. X

Gnatty, I will ask for testosterone at my appointment I think. Anything is worth a try to get VA and bladder under control again.

Hi Nas,
Forgot to say that when I got the VA/bladder issues my GP said ‘attack it with everything, use Vagifem day and night and use Ovestin 4 times a day’ I didn’t have dryness, it was like nappy rash.
This advice might have been because I don’t usually get these symptoms so our aim was to attack it hard to nip it in the bud.
I feel for women coping with VA, it is a dreadful condition. I think Vagifem/Ovestin should be available without prescription cheaply.

Yes we’ve talked before about ‘ attacking the enemy ‘ haven’t we.

Two lots of Ovestin have gone up. Later a vagifem. 75 patch remains firmly stuck on, despite period pains.

I don’t be defeated!!! X

Was just thinking, maybe the period pains are down to the fact that I am going to bleed anyway? This seems to have been the pattern since January
( even on the low dose femeston).

Maybe reducing to 50 won’t necessarily help in that respect?

Still can’t work out why I wouldn’t bleed for best part of 2.5 years since last  natural period, then all of a sudden, start again??

Another reason for getting a Mirena I think!

Hello there Nas.

I  should have looked at this thread before I commented on your other one, that would have been the more sensible thing to do lol.

I hope you get this sorted soon as VA seems to be an awful condition to have.

Bizarrely I had dryness and itching come on suddenly after I had been off HRT for about a year. I treated it with Yes moisturiser which seemed to work well. The Oestrogen receptors in that area have apparently survived fairly well, while my brain continues to have a terrible time of it! I guess you can't pick and chose which particular torture the menopause wants to throw at you!

I hope all goes well with your treatment and sending hugs.

Don’t worry Kathleen,
It’s got a little muddled with the different hospitals etc I admit!  :)

You totally right in saying we can’t pick and choose which angle the demon want to attack from.

At one point I could barely drive from anxiety.
Now I am drive, but get attached in other areas!

Keep going Kathleen, we cane be defeated by this. We have to keep going!
Wishing you more settled times ahead xxx
