Best time to apply Estrogel
«

Hi 👋🏻
Is evening or morning better?
X2 pumps.
My anxiety and heart palpitations seems worse at night, thinking it might be better to apply at night ?
Doing all the checks for heart palpitations and shortness of breath , so far ok.
I did go of HRT for a month , but back on.
GP will check levels again in a month.
Thank you 🙏🏻

Hello Beebinny x
Can I please ask you a question?
When you came off HRT did the shortness of breath and heart palpitations stop?
And is this why you stopped the first time?
When I started the combination of estrogel/promitrium I only lasted 4 days on it, then stopped because I couldn’t cope with the feeling that you are experiencing.
I developed severe shortness of breath, my heart was pounding in my throat and I felt like someone had their hands around my neck. Also I became extremely thirsty.
This is why i stopped and haven’t had the courage to retry (so far)
🙏🙏for answering

Yes, I thought it was HRT, but did not improve.
GP says symptoms could be low estrogen, will do a test in a couple of weeks to check.

Beebinny - it is personal preference and try both. Main consideration is who you share your bed with if applying at night because transfer can occur with close skin to skin contact for minimum first hour. Ditto children and pets for morning application - but also depends where on body you apply it.

I have experimented as have many of us on here, and for me I am better if I split my dose. But then, I take quite a bit more than you. So three pumps morning two pumps at night. This is using the green square bottle, I suspect I will only need 4 pumps on orange square so another experiment to start shortly! My sleep is better if I split dose.
