Changing HRT because of unavailability.
« on: April 13, 2022, 10:59:01 AM »

Hi Ladies,

May I ask for advice.

Have been on oestrogel 750 mcg twice a day and utrogestan every 3 months (progesterone intolerant), but now can not get the gel for love nor money.

The doctor has given me Estraderm patches 50 micrograms(MX50) twice a week but just wondered is this an equivalent dose.

Any info will be gratefully received.

That is the correct dose - one pump is 25 mcg of a patch.

I've had to swop too, and not feeling good at all. But that's just me - most people feel much better on a patch
