Vagifem: To reload or not?
«

Just wondering if I should reload vagifem for 2 weeks after not using for 10 nights due to internal exam/smear or if I can just go back to every other night? I normally use vagifem every other night and Yes VM on the alternate nights. I’m noticing exacerbation of symptoms so this must be due to stopping for a short while. Thank you 😊

You can use it as much as you want, sometimes I need to take it every day for a week then I can come down but my Dr says just to use it as I please,it's very low dose,so quite safe. You should maybe just run it by your GP first but that's what my one said

If you have an exacerbation of symptoms after stopping it for 10 days I would do a two week reload. I do a two week reload three or four times a year.

Yes I would def do a reload if you’re having a recurrence of symptoms. Notoriously difficult to get on top of these issues otherwise. Hopefully you’ll be back to normal after a couple of weeks of daily use.

Thanks so much for all the replies, really helpful advice, I will go for one every night initially to get back on track.
