Hi,
I had a bad reaction to something yesterday and wondered if I'd used my products too quickly after showering? There's no other explanation for it. I read that warm skin can enable much faster absorption. Has anyone else experienced this and is it better to wait a while before using? There is plenty info about not showering for at least an hour after applying which is obvious, but nothing about applying afterwards that I can see! 🤔

Hi I always use straight after a shower….usually about 10 mins after I get out of shower. I’ve never had any reactions from this x Although mine is Oestrogel x

Ah, thanks! Maybe the gel absorbs more slowly, but that was quite weird yesterday and got me wondering! 🤔

I haven't noticed any difference if gel is applied straight after a shower. Maybe just give it 10 mins until your skin has cooled down? Given the temperature in my bathroom my skin may cool down faster than yours  (built into a barn so 3 walls, floor and ceiling are all outside surfaces. Perhaps I should keep cows underneath it ).

Haha, sheila99! I imagine you with something of a charmed farming life, but that's maybe not always the reality! I live in a tiny, 200 year old stone cottage in semi-rural, chilly Scotland. So, the dart from the bathroom to the bedroom at the other end of the house should cool me swiftly! I'll try the leaving it 10 minutes as suggested, but I think it's maybe more the absorption rate, Lenzetto renowned for speed and potentially variable delivery, at the root of things. This was a one-off (so far), so perhaps other influences were around. Thanks again.

It's an incentive to make sure you don't need the loo in the night!
My life didn't feel quite so idyllic when I finally got to bed at 2:30 am this morning. Even less so when I realised at 4am I hadn't checked some twins born earlier had fed. So off I trotted across the yard in my dressing gown and wellies to find them curled up asleep, nice and warm and well fed - unlike me  . Lucky we have no neighbours to see    .
It has it's compensations though, there's nothing better than watching them bouncing around on a sunny summer's day - particularly the ones that wouldn't have survived if I hadn't intervened.
