Hi.
Am FINALLY absorbing on the Lenzetto (265) and can start testosterone. I could cry! Specialist still talking about age and dosage which is depressing, but perseverance seems to be the way! Yay!!!!!

There seems a general theory that Lenzetto is weaker than other delivery methods? Not sure. It's progress anyway and getting the T is the symptom relief I've badly needed. Onwards! 😊

Is Lenzetto oestrogen or progesteron?  Is it only available privately?  Why is your specialist talking referring to age?  Is the an age limit?  I thought HRT could be taken as long as one wants to provided it doesn't pose a health risk.

KarineT:- Lenzetto is oestrogen only. A knowledgeable, creative and willing gp might prescribe it, but mine was prescribed by an NHS specialist after my failing to absorb from patches and gel. There is still work to be done clearly, even at specialist level, about age being less of a concern if a concern at all provided there are no contra-indications. I'm just thrilled that my year of tenacity has paid off because it's the testosterone I've been badly needing, but there's always scope for further discussion and negotiation. One thing at a time!

  I certainly felt like I was getting poor absorption from it compared to Estradot patches & when I read around on the web there was the suggestion it was weaker than originally thought, but quite a few members report doing well on it & it seemed well worth your trying it as we all respond differently - it was a different application site & a different mode of delivery to any you'd tried before.  It's so easy to use & dries so quickly I have HRT envy 

Yes - do try the testosterone.  I think you've told us you have only 1 ovary, so I can't help but think T deficiency has been part of the problem.  If it doesn't help & you still feel worse on oestrogen replacement than you did before resuming HRT, at least you'll know you have tried & you can then move on.
