Chills Shaking weakness
« on: February 02, 2022, 01:50:21 PM »

Hi all, does anyone experience chills, shakiness, weakness in the legs and raised heartbeat ? I'm experiencing  these four years  post my last period.  These symptoms have only begun recently, in the past two months.  Would hrt help? I'm currently having acupuncture sessions.

Hi Hannah,

Sorry to hear that you have these symptoms as they are horrible and don"t make sense to me. I have chills, etc and I am 2 years postmeno now.  I do hope that they won't get worse but who knows.  I've recently did a blood test to make sure it's not my thyroid causing this and it's not.  They also checked the oestrogen level and last year it was 586 pmol/l and this year only 29.6 pmol/l.  How could there be such a huge drop in the space of year?  As I was already 12 months postmeno last year 586 pmol/l must have been wrong.  BTWI I've never been on HRT.

Yes, l’m experiencing chills and weakness at mo, not raised heart rate though. I think mine is caused by anxiety as l manage to get myself in a state over what other people might consider mild health issues. I always think the worst.

Could it be low blood sugar Hannah.  How is your diet over all?  MayB try eating every three hours, 24/7.  It takes practice, took me 6 months to get into the habit.  It helped me a lot!

How do you know that your heart beat is raised?  MayB ask your surgery for a 24 hour monitor?

When did u last have a thyroid function and vitD level blood test?
