This proposal to reclassify the product containing 10 micrograms vaginal estradiol tablets (Gina 10) formally known as Vagifem would allow women in the UK to access treatment over the counter at a pharmacy, without requiring a prescription for the first time.

Just in time for my 60th birthday then :-(

I would not be happy with the pharmacist having access to my medical records either! I find it a bit strange all that.  I mean, men can buy Viagra over the counter cant they?  do the pharmacists check their records for high blood pressure etc? (I believe Viagra works by temporarily raising the bp, but I could be wrong)
