« on: January 23, 2022, 10:25:54 AM »

Hi

So been given Vegifem from gp and uncertain what time to use it

Is it better AM or PM ?

Also does it leak out of you, as I don’t wanna be going around with wet knicker feeling or wet bed sheet

Thanks ladies

It's every night for 2-3 weeks, then every few nights.  'vagifem' or 'ovestin' really work to ease the dry symptoms that is caused by a lack of oestrogen.  Once the area is plumped up, there is less likely that any of the product will drain. Certainly I haven't found 'ovestin' messy.  4 me it felt like razor blades  :o up there  >:(

Vagifem won't leak as it is a pessary
(dry tablet-type thing) rather than a cream. It should stick to the vaginal wall. It's normally used at night so that it can do it's work overnight, but you can use in the morning if you want to.
