Internal tremors started with new box of Evorel Conti
« on: November 29, 2021, 03:10:42 PM »

Hi, I'm 54 and have been using Evorel Conti for a while with no noticeable side effects.

I  started a new box of Evorel Conti a couple of weeks ago and I'm  now experiencing internal tremors.

It took me a while to realise that the new batch of Conti patches might be causing this. I've stopped using the patches to see if the tremors go. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Hu Jenniewren,
I get hand tremors & for me they started at about the time I started going through the menopause (12 years ago). I found it embarrassing. I was on HRT.
I'd describe the internal tremors more as butterflies in the stomach, anyway I went to the docs & was diagnosed with "benign essential tremors" & got propanolol which stopped them almost straight away.
Have a word with your GP.

I decided to put my patch back on as after four days I didn't feel any different.

The tremors are not outwardly visible. It's an all over body feeling like sitting in a stationary the car with the engine running.

I've had an ECG which was fine and my blood pressure is normal. Booked in for blood tests next week. I just hope my GP can work out what it is as sleeping is so difficult. It feels like someone is constantly gently shaking the bed.

Tremors were one of my worst symptoms as l was convinced it was some sort of neurological disease. However, l was reassured by my GP that it was down to the menopause and anxiety. I still get it slightly in my left lower leg sometimes, but nothing like it was. I’m sure it will pass for you too.
