Kathleen,

What’s the most effective way to apply the Sandrena? Where on the body absorbs the best? Do you apply morning and evening?

Does one 1mg sachet cover approx one palm size of the thigh?

Thanks

Hi all
I changed from Femoston 2/10 to utrogestan and Lenzetto about a month ago. My GP prescribed 100mg utrogestan daily and 1 spray of Lenzetto.
I want to stay on a cyclical regime at the moment as it gives me a better basis to check for any changes or improvement,  so I take 200mg for 12 days (or something like that!)
On the utro I find I feel very calm and have quite a steady mood, but one spray of Lenzetto outside of the utro didn't seem to be enough,  so I upped it to two after about two weeks. I had also heard about Louise Newson's correspondence with the manufacturers which established it's not as strong as they suggest.
All generally seems ok for me, though I'm feeling a general increase in vaginal soreness,  though not sure if that's related to the regime change.
I use Yes WB and am seeing (yes, actually face to face seeing!) my GP on Wednesday as she has had a reply from the gynae clinic.  No idea what that will mean, but I'll be asking for topical oestrogen cream at least.
It is a minefield and I'm grateful that my symptoms are generally well controlled.  Also don't have kids at home any more, so that's got to help!!

Thank you for posting this I heard Liz Earl mention something about this the other day but wondered where the info came from :) I’m really liking the Lenzeto but wondering if I need to increase to 3 pumps to try and combat joint pain hip in particular! I’m going to try and request a blood test at the GPS I think, fingers crossed I can get one!

@postmeno I was thinking exactly the same thing this week! This isn’t progress!

It shouldn’t be so difficult.

I’ve been prescribed various different treatments over the last couple of years which has also had an effect on my job.

I have decided to stop all of it for now, and although I don’t feel 100%, I’m happy to feel 80% back to my normal self.

I did use Lenzetto for a couple of months, but it made me sleepy in the day and I couldn’t sleep at night!  :-\
So I stopped using it

Sleepy, are you off Hrt now? If so, how do you feel without? I tried to come off, but the symptoms were brutal 🥴

@Nas - when you say you went cold turkey what happened exactly.  I have been on Lenzetto for 3 months now - upped to 3 sprays over the last month.  Last week symptoms started to come back pretty violently and I’m now feeling so unwell - mentally as well as physically.  The GP and the meno specialist think the spray was faulty and I’ve gone into a sudden oestrogen withdrawal but I also wonder whether I’ve been taking too much?  Wondered what happened when you stopped taking it suddenly.

I’ve also just hear that a friend of a friend says if she doesn’t take Lenzetto at exactly the same time each day she feels horrendous, as if she’s overdosed.

I just want to work out whether I’m over or under and get back to the relative ‘ok’ i was before.  This is so so awful.  My anxiety is through the roof .

Not sure if this is relevant, but, as a Lenzetto user, it appears to deliver differing quantities with each spray. There are times when the skin is clearly wet on the surface, filling the whole areas it targets. Other times, the skin is barely wet or the target area doesn't seem full. It may just be that absorption varies and it is going in quicker on some days than others. I do love the practicality of it, ease of use and fast drying compared to gel.........🤔

@Gill99 how do you guys tape up the spray?  I’ve just had an awful time the last week on Lenzetto (have been on it for 3 months).  We don’t know if the spray stopped working (ran out of oestrogen) and I was sent into a sudden withdrawal or I was getting too high a dose but I’m hesitant to go back to the three sprays I was on but two isn’t quite enough.  I’m looking at the spray dispenser and wondering how on earth you guys are taping it to get a half dose?
