Hi All,
I am 50 (51 next month

) I have been on this "wonderful" menopausal journey since I was 46 - so I am way into being Postmenopausal. I am not on HRT and never have been. I experimented in the early days, but it just didn't suit me at the time. It was giving me more side effects and I could cope with.
In May this year I had some spotting, so the GP sent me for a hysteroscopy and a scan of my ovaries. After 2 very long weeks, the results came back clear. It showed that my uterine lining was 5mm thick. They took a biopsy and that came back clear too.
For various reasons, this week has been really stressful at work and at home. On Tuesday when I went for my bike ride, I noticed that there was blood smeared in my knickers. I have also been experiencing period cramp pain these past few days - but no spotting at all ( I check on a regular basis) I'm now starting to worry that the hospital have somehow missed something? My health anxiety has really kicked in and I can't seem to relax in any way. I know stress can have a big effect on the body, so I'm hoping it is just a blip.
Should I go back to my GP or should I give it a few more days to see how it pans out.
Any advice on this with anyone who is or has had similar symptom would be gratefully received.
Thank you!
