Hi ladies,
I’m 49. I didn’t realise I was peri until I didn’t have a period for 4/5 months. Then the anxiety, sweats and flashes etc started and I found you all and woke up!
I now realise that I was probably Estrogen deficient for along time before, hence my question. Do any of you know if the longer you went without Estrogen the longer it takes HRT to remove all symptoms please? I’m only on second month of Estrogel and Utrogestan but I’m still getting joint pain, the odd hot flash and anxiety is still hard, I’m still worried about being capable of working. It removed the worst symptoms in the first few days which is great, I daren’t increase from 2 pumps a day until I’ve done the 3 months as I want to know if my current regime is going to work.

Can anybody give their views please?
