I can’t cope with my fuzzy head
« on: August 09, 2021, 07:02:35 AM »

Hi all. Can anyone advise how I can cope with a fuzzy head please. Some days I am working but just can’t get my head around the simplest of things. I am on the Everol patch which has made a difference but the fuzzy head I feel does affect my job

I've not long started on evorel and I'm hoping the fuzziness will get better as the hormone levels rise again

I take anti-depressant medication so my head feels fuzzy all the while, certainly impacts on conversations  :-\.

I have busy dreams due to the tablets which causes most of my symptoms.

Hi there Jane - which Evorel patch are you taking? If it is Evorel conti then the fuzziness might be due tot he continuous progestogen in these patches? If you only started patches recently then hopefully the side effects will settle? The usual advice is 3 months to try a new type of HRT. If not then there are lots of different options. Have the other menopausal symptoms improved?

Thank you for responding. The patches I use are Evorel Conti. They work well snd have made such a difference to all symptoms but I still suffer with a fuzzy head, if I have a few things to do, even with my to do list I just get a scrambled feeling. I’ve been using these patches since February

I feel extra scrambled this morning due to busy involved dreams  :-\.  It's awful.  I can't string 2 words together.
