You know you’re getting old when .....you look in a shoe shop that’s full of lovely shoes but all you think  is “ooh those slippers look comfy”

And don’t doctors, policemen, soldiers, etc look so young?!!

I know I’m getting older, cos’ it’s difficult getting up off the floor!

When I see that old woman staring back in a shop reflection - and it's me  as well as looking more like my Mum

When you look in the mirror and see a barrel.

You know you're getting old when you feel a twinge in your thigh and immediately think hip replacement.

Or alternatively, you get a twinge in your thigh and think, my oestrogen levels are too low.

Reaching your feet, to cut your toenails, is exhausting.

You see young girls in short dresses and go,     When you know you worn them when you were younger.

 . ......... yep, muttering 'we did that too' when they pull their skirts down from behind even though it's a belt

You know you're getting old when..... you have lovely high shoes....for sitting down when you go out.
Oh, and you'll only go out if there will be somewhere to sit.
