Hi everyone,

My first time here!

I'm about to start using HRT patches and am looking for advice on where best to stick them. I do a lot of cycling. Plus, I'm going on holiday soon so may do some swimming. Ideally I'd like to wear it where it doesn't show. Would you say the upper part of the bottom is the best place, or is that a bad idea if I'm cycling a lot?

Would welcome advice!

Hi Doris. Sorry to be late replying. I've been on patches for 14 years and I've found the best place to stick them is towards the top of my buttock which I guess is upper part of the bottom  . It is best to put them where they are covered as you're not supposed to expose them to sunlight.

I hope you get in well with them. It takes up to three months to get the full effect and for any side effects to settle. Which type are you trying?
