« on: May 25, 2021, 02:36:43 PM »

hi ladies

for those of you taking tesosterone have any of you noticed weight gain

i’ve put a lot of weight on short space of time and wondering if tesosterone as my levels are to high at 9.6 free tesosterone
estradiol 253 pmol and needs to be 2.5 -3

all over bloods normal vit d b 12 thyroid ferritin my folate was low so now taking folic acid and again wonder if this is caused by elevated tesosterone as when tesosterone was low i had good amount red blood cells now tesosterone higher these reduced

i’m at my wits end with hrt and cannot seem to feel great i had a good 3-4 months in nearly 3 yrs where i felt amazing then 2-3 months back felt out of sorts

could progesterone cause weight gain ?

I haven't had any weight gain from testosterone - though I only take a tiny squidge a few days a well and have no idea how much I'm absorbing. I don't know about testosterone but I do remember years ago when I took the pill people would always say it caused weight gain and that was true for a lot of people, though whether it was the estrogen or progesterone component that caused it I don't know.

Progesterone is usually the culprit. I’ve tried every type going and they all bloat me x
