am in the UK. 45 yrs old and was told about this site from my G.P today. I am going to starting HRT next month. peri menopause proper kicked in since December, though been a slow process for last 3 half years. Just feel am loosing myself.
any way HIYA ALL x p.s. also a forum/ IT newbie

thanks all. just a chapter i was not fully ready for. on top of other things. BUT one question anyone know of any help for addiction recovery and menopause. lot health issues and been sober almost 3 years but finding this new curve ball is testing and pushing me. dont want to rabble on

If you feel the need to rabble on then please do.............we are all hear to listen, and no one will judge. Its a safe place to sound out your worries and concerns. Sometimes I find just writing things down on here really helps xx

Well done on being sober 3 years,quite an achievement,as you are aware drink doesn't solve anything and I can assure you,if you were to start drinking ON TOP of menopause you're going to feel 10 times worse,if you look round the forum,you will see the majority of women on here can't touch a drink now,as meno and drink just don't go well together x
