Femseven conti feedback
« on: April 22, 2021, 07:23:09 PM »

Hello, please may I ask your experience of this product and whether my experience is ok. I started these patches 2 weeks ago and for the last 5 day I have bleeding and mild pain, light-headed occasionally, bloating feeling. Is this normal? Prior to this 12 months approx without periods. Should I persevere? I don't know what it means. Will I become anemic? Thanks all.

Hi

i am on week 9 and I would suggest you persevere. I have had lots of side effects like bloating, pains in my joints {no bleeding} but things seem to be settling. You will get side effects until your body gets used to the new HRT but should settle.

I have had some positives too  ;)

Wx, thanks for your reply. I talked to my gp today. He has done a 2 week referral to rule out anything nasty. Hopefully the HRT has triggered the bleed. Looking forward to positives X

Hi bluebird. Bleeding is to be expected during the first six months of a conti HRT such as the one you are on. It should state this in the patient information leaflet under side effects. Your GP is being cautious but try not to worry too much. After you've been using a conti HRT for six months any bleeding problems should have disappeared.

Thanks Taz, that's reassuring to hear that. Pretty sure it's the HRT as I got the PMT symptoms. Sore boobs, cramps. Thanks and a great safe weeekend X
