Hi I am new here & finding my way around so please bear with me if I get this wrong!

I started Estraderm patches 25mcg with Utrogestan 100mg approx 4/5 mths ago. After 6 weeks went onto 50mcg. 3weeks ago asked for increase to 75mcg as sex drive still lower & awful joint & muscle pain.

However, after being on this for 3weeks I have developed anxiety, shakiness & insomnia! Awful. Could cope with the first two but not the insomnia. Please help! My GP practice is overwhelmed with the covid crisis. I was prescribed HRT by a trainee GP so had to research & tell her what I wanted & don’t have much confidence in getting advice from the practice, so I am hoping this forum will be able to help.

My Qs are:
Can I just replace the 75mcg patch with a 50mcg?
If so, how long should it take for side effects to decrease?

It's probably the increase upsetting you.

MayB drop back every 3rd night to see if the symptoms ease?   Also, put the product name into the search box on the Forum and see what pops up: make notes 

   it can be Trial and Error!
