Hello ladies

I don't have crushing fatigue but my energy levels are very low of late and I want to rest all the time. I am not particularly hungry either and I feel as if I need to hibernate lol.

I am a few months into HRT again and I am using Oestrogel and Utrogestan but not testosterone.

Recent blood tests were fine but this lack of energy is beginning to worry me.  Do other ladies have similar and could it be hormonal or something else?

Wishing you well ladies.

Could just be winter hibernation, Kathleen.

Do you take vitamin D ??

Hello Shadeyglade

Yes I have been taking Vitamin D supplements and have recently began taking a capsule that contains Vit D and K2 as they are supposed to be absorbed better. Do you know how long it takes to feel the benefit ?

Many thanks and take care.

I'm not sure but it's probably a few weeks.  You need to be a regular taker though as the effects can reduce in as little as two weeks.

I now take vitamin D all year as I now have to use factor 30 sunscreen, summer and winter.  I never really sunbath anyway so need all the help I can get.  ::)

Hello again Shadeyglade

I am sure  you are wise to take vitamin D all year if you also need to wear sunscreen to protect your skin.

I suppose I was hoping for a miraculous transformation lol!

Wishing you well and take care.

Hello again ladies

Karashannon - I am sorry that you are suffering from fatigue and I see from another thread that you are also experiencing mood changes.

When various symptoms hit us all at once it is easy to feel overwhelmed and begin to despair. When my mood lifts, even if it is only for a while it gives me hope that feeling better is still possible!

Wishing you well.

I am suffering with fatigue all the time. I thought working at home would give me a new lease of life but almost a year in I'm thoroughly exhausted and actually don't feel like I'll cope going back to office. There are many periods this year that I would have had to be off sick if I'd had to go to office. It's easier to take frequent breaks and not have to put on a happy face all the time when at home! I'm Peri and really struggling  :'(

Thanks Kathleen

I seem really low, since the weekend.  And it's since then that I've also have these pelvic floor symptoms.  My thyroid medication was lowered over the weekend as I'd run low, but would it have caused such low mood and pelvic floor changes just like that.  I did feel better with my first proper dose on Monday, and then last night I picked right up again, and strangely pelvic floor was improved.  Today slightly dipped again (brain and pelvic floor  ;D)  I don't know which is first, it's a bit chicken and egg, lol.  I'm down about the symptoms, but any symptoms like this also tend to come when I'm down and I'm only usually down for a couple of days a month.  It's been a bit longer this time.  My new age friends are telling me it's because the full moon was prolonged this time.  :o

I understand that, I've been working from home, it's a bit of a drag because everything is done in front of a screen, and I need to move about more, but I did think it would give me a bit of a rest in the physical sense, no travelling etc.  I just feel like a lethargic blob at the moment.

How many breaks from the screen do you take during the day ?  By Law you are supposed to walk away after 2 hours for 20-30 mins., so mayB get into the garden with a cuppa, make the beds, hoover ?

Maybe I could try that.  It's awful how much can be done online now.
