Does this EVER END???? A Vogel Menopause Support
« on: January 27, 2021, 06:00:42 PM »

Thought I was coping with the Meno symptoms and that I was doing quite well - MORE FOOL ME!

Fell off the bed this morning as my head was spinning and had to steady myself in order to get up and felt nauseous as well
Brain felt really foggy - in fact so did my eyes
Gripey area around navel area so now think I've also got an ulcerwhich really wouldnt surprise me
Just sobbing repeatedly as its all getting too, too much
Stupidly I thought you got a symptom once and that was it ,so when I felt dizzy again and nauseous - I thought no not again........
Anybody else had the same??
Has anyone taken A Vogel Menopause Support tabs and did you have a positive result??
Thanks for reading

How is your over all diet?  It can be low blood sugar if you get out of bed suddenly.  Always sit up then put legs over the edge of the bed: B4 standing up.  Keeping hydrated is important too.

It's The Change - does what it says on the tin.  Often several times  ::)

I could have written your first line! Thought I had it cracked and felt great for a couple of months, then last week BANG!!  :o
Full meno symptoms, and the bl**dy dizziness - It's driving me mad!!
Are you on HRT? I came off it for a while (which is when I felt better) but I guess as I am reaching the 'full' menopause now the symptoms are ramping up once more.
I haven't tried the Vogel Menopause support, but have tried Menomin which (I think) helped, but not so much for the dizziness and psychological symptoms.
I've just wacked on a pump of Estrogel on to see if that helps - menopausal always - it certainly feels that way doesn't it..  :-\
I hope you get some advice, I just really wanted to tell you you aren't alone.

I've read about this before on the Forum (it could have been one of your posts actually) - do you need to have it okayed first by a GP or could you go it alone? - I was prescribed tablets for dizziness, but they made me more dizzy than before.. ironically... ;D

Hi, I tried A Vogel Menopause support but they didn't work for me. The only thing that gets rid of my hot flushes at age 64 (yes, was still having them 10 years post meno...) is HRT.
Hope you manage to find something that suits you xx

Hi menopausealways,

I, too, suffer from dizziness and when it started affecting me most was in 2018.  The whole experience really scared me, so much so that I insisted on having various medicsl tests which all came back normal, thankfully. At one point I thought I was having a neurological disease because I never associated it with the menopause.  This is because I was still having my periods.  As my gp and other medical professionals couldn't find anything wrong with me, I made my own conclusion that the dizziness was menopause-related.  I never knew that this could be one of the symptoms and a bad one at the same time.  It's very difficult to manage because we have no control over it. It can kick in out of nowhere.

Hi, there are so many symptoms of peri/menopause and we only really hear about hot flushes. What does your doctor say about the dizziness? Have you had your blood pressure checked as low blood can cause dizziness? I had spells of dizziness myself in peri menopause but until now had not connected it as I have M.E. And just put it down to that. It wasn’t often but I do remember having to ring my husband as I got in the car to drive home and had dizziness. I felt horrendously unwell for quite a while before I realised it was menopause related. I felt better when I started HRT patches they’ve literally changed my quality of life.
