HRT and aching
« on: January 12, 2021, 12:32:36 PM »

Hi all, just wanted to see if anyone else has side effects from evorel sequi patches? I only started  these 24 hours ago and I'm using the evorel 50 patch. Since starting my joint ache a little generally but the pain in pelvis and legs is quite bad right now. I've spoken to nurse and she just said it may take a bit of time to get used to them so I'm trying to perserve but also very tempted to rip the patch off. Has anyone else had this side effect? Thanks in advance

As oestrogen levels drop the muscles may become lax = aches and pains.  MayB put the product name into the search box and see what pops up?  Take some pain relief to ease the symptoms.

Hi Slinks27, welcome to the forum. You're perimenopausal so anything is possible, it could be the patch or your own hormones causing these symptoms. You can rip the patch off as a test though. If things improve right away it's probably a reaction to the patch, if they don't it's your own hormones. It takes time for HRT to settle though.
