Hi all
Has anyone used ovestin cream before? Its to be inserted but does it help with external itching and dryness?
The problem i have is more external to be honest so I am hoping it will help with that.

Yes, it will help external issues. You can apply a little to the labia, as well as using internally.

changes can be scary, even when we want them

It will help. Insert every night for 2-3 weeks and put a little on the outer labia etc. at the same time. The idea is to keep the area supple.

I’m one of the lucky ones who doctor allows me to use both Ovestin and Vagifem.
My pain is external, I’m currently using Ovestin externally 5/6 nights a week
Ovestin internally two nights a week
And Vagifem 4 nights a week.
Good luck, I’ve had virginal atrophy for over two years now, and it’s not unusual to do well than have a flare up.
I had at least five flare ups last year

My meno specialist said it was safe to use Ovestin on the outside every day. I use Vagifem and Ovestin daily, i can't cope if any less than that.

Over two years with virginal atrophy treatment and it can still be very up and down.
I reloaded 5 times last year, right now I’m good about 95% normal virgina. But sadly I know it can change and I will go backwards, but not as bad as I was at the start. Sadly treatment is for life and by my experience it will be up and down.
