I was raised in a village with few children. The school was 3 miles away so we were bussed there and back. I have vague memories of 2 pupils at that time. In the early hours I often wonder what happened to many of my peer groups in the various situations I found myself in whilst growing up.
2 I need to say 'sorry' to .........

. Difficult as I don't want to bring back memories that they may have forgotten.
Then there's the internet ........ full of interesting topics, groups, news, fake news, 'photos of cats doing silly things

as well as unreliables.
A few friends have reconnected via e-mail, most of those had kept in touch with letters and C.mas cards but 2 get regular updates is lovely. Plus it's easier to send 'photos these days down the line. I have pen friends in the US, Oz, Manilla .......... and FaceBook pops up the occasional re-union. I did have a friend in Scotland who disappeared

and yesterday, some1 not heard of for 5 years, messaged me :-). But with sad news

I have a friend who is in her mid-90s who is no longer able to write to me but I send messages via the Manager of her Care Home, not as regularly as I ought to [note to self].
How much do you all keep in contact with people that you wouldn't bother to write/ring as often?
