Hi all
I've been using vagifem for around a year, and its been great (on 2/week), but it now feels like it's not working. I'm very sore/uncomfortable further up (if you know what I mean 😉). Sex is so uncomfortable, do you recommend I try something different now? I also use Yes VM, but that is starting to sting abit.

Use it every night for 2-3 weeks, have a look-C at our bladder issues and vaginal trophy threads.  Sometimes the 'vagifem' needs upping to replump vaginal tissue.

I would do a two week reload and then go on a higher maintenance dose, i have never managed on twice a week Vagifem.

When I asked my GP a few months ago about re loading, she was reluctant for me to do it. She said to just do an extra one for 2 weeks, which never helped.
Is it safe to increase now and again do you know?

I use Vagifem every night and have done for about three years now, my meno specialist said even when used every day it was only equivalent to two systemic HRT pills a year, she sent that info to my GP too.

A female GP at my surgery also told me she was happy for all her ladies to use five Vagifem a week if needed as that was equivalent to the old dose. A few years ago the dose was 25 mcg per pessary it is now 10 mcg.

I got the same from the urogynaecologist and the nurse in her team who was an older lady (over 65).
